When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely via our authentication provider, never in plain text). As you chat, we collect the information you share about your goals, such as target country, field of study, budget, and similar details, to build your profile and find relevant matches.
Your profile is used to match you with universities, mentors, and relevant opportunities. Mentor applications additionally include your university affiliation and areas of expertise, shown to students only after you're approved.
Chat messages are processed by our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate responses and extract profile information. We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties. Your data is stored in our own database, hosted by deenovum Technologies AG.
We never send an introduction email to a mentor or student without your explicit confirmation in the chat. You're always in control of what gets shared and when.
You can update your profile anytime from your account, and turn email notifications on or off from Settings. To request deletion of your account and data, use the "Request account deletion" option in Settings, or contact us directly.
